The Ilford Magical Society is pleased to announce that through its fund raising during the past year we have been able to donate £970 to the British Liver Trust. The bulk of this money was raised through their Winter Show organised by Roger Arnay and Alan Parish. The winter show featured close-up magic and a cabaret show. The cabaret was a mixture of dance, provided by Kryptic Fusion (winners of Essex Got Talent 2009), juggling from Glowball Exports and Rhythm and Balls, and of course magic from TIMS magicians. The rest of the money was rasied by the society as part of their magic show programme.
This donation is in addition to the money many Essex based charities and organisations have raised as a result of booking a TIMS Magic Show. The shows provide fund raisers with a unique alternative to the usual fund raising activities and combining a TIMS Magic Show with a raffle can raise several hundreds of pounds for the organisation’s good cause.
